Today is Tuesday - Day 13

Hmm day 13 - unlucky for some? Not for me!  I am enjoying school holidays and the lack of morning go go go!!!

There's an online joke with some facebook friends of mine that none of us seem to know what day of the week it is LOL.  I'd nearly tend to agree hubby was working from home last week and so I never knew if it was a holiday or a weekday LOL.  But I know that today is Tuesday - I haven't yet seen playschool so I still could be wrong... tee hee.

This morning I heard our postie came at just after 10am which is GREAT because during the week he has been coming not until nearly 2pm!  When your waiting on mail it's important that you get it early in the morning - unless it's a bill we don't need those! LOL

I got in the mail this morning the Coles Myer gift card which I won off of ebay.  I only saved $2 but hey I'll take that.  Dissapointing however that I 'can't' use it at the coles petrol station which was my plan but it can be used at target, kmart etc so I will still have space to use them anywhere!  

Also at the post office arrived my Westfield gift card which I scored off of ebay for 5% discount so that was good.  I have 12 mths to use it but some shops like kmart and target are accepting them now so if I go ahead and get DD12 a 3DS XL for her birthday then I will save a bit of money!

I posted nearly all the ebay parcels today.  You get a discount if you buy a packet of prepaid satchels so I did that - helps to cover some of the ebay fee's I get.  I go out of my way to go the Post Office I have been going to since 1999 when I first got married as it was close to our first house and they are so lovely in there!  They know me by name too which is just lovely for customer service.

I checked the points balance last night on flybuys, frequent flyer's (and ps I've barely got enough to fly to the end of the road let alone anywhere like Melbourne LOL) and the points on the Credit Card (we get 1 pt for every $1 we spend) so I use my CC for EVERYTHING - trying to keep within the budget of course so yes I'm been guilty of buying a loaf of bread and swiping the card! 

I also pulled together all the petrol vouchers that I have and put them all in order of expiry so I can best use them.  I have them in my purse now so they are always with me because there aren't a lot of Coles Petrol stations to where I live and it's very much out of my way just to go and get petrol.  

 I was going to 'attempt' to sort out the Tupperware cupboard today and I even put a status on facebook about it that I was going to do it and if I don't come back, send for help - well I haven't really reported in yet noone's sent for help - gee wizz it's hard to find good help these days LOL.  I did take a before picture however so when I have an after shot then I'll let you know!

Did some weeding out the front - it's going to take a while to get it all done but I refuse to spend any more money on it.  I keep getting it slashed and then poisoned and we never go out there to clean it up etc so I have decided hard work ='s less cash we need to spend.  However bending over for nearly 30 mins might have given me a great squat position I don't feel that tomorrow morning I'm going to be too 'happy' when it comes time to getting out of bed lol.  I still have to teach Zumba so I might not be moving very fast.... This is pic of our front yard from a few years ago and I can tell you right now it's 110 x's worse than this - I'll try and take a picture tomorrow - I'm sure there's a small child in there somewhere.....

Have to make a 'to do' list for tomorrow and running sheet.  I'm spending the day with my mum and I want to get a zillion things done and also need to pack some things in the car!  Hope you all had a great day xoxo
