Happy New Year - Day 6

I love public holidays - a quiet peaceful day!  However as we have just had Xmas and all the other public holiday's I'm nearly not sure what day it is LOL.  I only care about the 'day' if there was something on tv that I wanted to watch but  rarely do that these days.

Today my faith in humanity a little was restored.  I recently purchased a double pass to see Jack Reacher from ebay.  It cost me less than it would have to use movie money so I was happy with that.  Still all the same restrictions so that's ok.  As the seller lived only around the corner from me he offered for me to pick it up or drop it off so I got the drop off option and as promised by 9am it was in my letterbox.  Cheers!

I also managed to list another 11 things on ebay.  It does take a while to get everything listed so I think my idea of getting 30 things listed in a day was a little overshoot for a goal especially as I'm picking a peak time of approx 2 - 6pm.  It's ok at least I know I have plenty more things left.  I am going to stretch out the FREE for as long as I can because it's now 50c per listing for things you put up! Sigh.... Sometimes eBay does a weekend special listing offer so I will watch carefully for those too.

I am taking pictures of everything and geting them all ready so next Monday when it comes time to do my listings I will have it all ready to go.  That will save me some time!

We are having a few standstill issues in this house as I posted before about housechores and still 3 days later nothing has been done... it's frustrating to say the least...

So I put in a rule that there is no tv or computer until housechores are completed so it's been very quiet in this house.  Sadly the children do have other things to amuse themselves with like lego which is another issue all on it's own... (do you like my picture I feel it repents the house well)

Lego in this house seems to have a room all of it's own and it's a mindfield having to go into that room at times!  I have managed to make a little path when I need things but still it's painful finding a small piece under foot so hubby went into the room today and swept it all up into a box.  There were a few tears and tantrums they haven't had it taken away but if they weren't going to do the job then we were.

I'm sure it's a game of who's going to break first and you know what it's not going to be me! xoxo
