Sweeping Sunday - Day 11

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning is what today has been about.  I cleaned out DS9 (darling son's 9 yrs old) room today and filled the bin twice.  Two years worth of art products that he was finally willing to let go off.  Found a whole heap of toys / macca's / small bits and pieces that he no longer requires so bagged them up ready for savers and then found a few others in very good condition which I will sell to get rid of.

I made a few piles of stuff on his bed and being the cheeky monkey that he is has decided he will just sleep on the floor with his spare matress rather than put away the things that I said to 'sort out' so looks like another job for tomorrow!  At least there is space now and we emptied a whole cupboard so I'm thinking of pulling that out so he can have some more room in there!

DD12 cleaned 'some' of her room today still not to the level of 'Sunday's List' but she's learning.  She only earnt 1 hour of computer time today and so we are in a huff about that!  No pocket money will be paid today....

All of my ebay auctions finished today and so I relisted the ones that didn't sell.  So I'll go back to nervously watching the bids.  I had someone drive nearly an hour to come and pick up the item they won - they must have been desperate for it but it was good cash in hand and no pay pal fees.  The amount of fee's they charge is just crazy but most ebay sellers use it now because it gives them protection should you not receive your item!

I also won a Coles Myer gift card online I paid $48 for a $50 card I realise it's not much but it was also free postage and like I said above I paid with pay pal so I am covered should the card not rock up.  I paid for it with the auctions that have already been paid for so that's nearly free for me!  I love a bargain! LOL

Sorted out my music for Zumba today, gosh it takes so long, hubby burnt a disk so now I just have to put it in and press play managed to put in some breaks too so I won't be running up and down, that 'save's' some energy! LOL

Cleaning up a pile of mess of paperwork and just general 'dumped stuff' I know you all have an area like that and found a camera cable we have been looking for that the gremlins must have hid a while ago.  More cleaning to do tomorrow.  Our bin is now full so I'm hoping that the neighbours will go away and not put their bin out so I can have an extra collection.  That or do a trudge up the street in the dark to see 'who has space' done that before!  I refuse to pay for a skip to get rid of rubbish although I'm seriously thinking about it with all the stuff I want to get rid of.  Reminds me I must book a hard rubbish collection soon.

Had a friend drop off some clothes to me today that she no longer wants only a few things but they are a smaller size so just want I needed.  

Headed over to Westfield at 4.30pm as the fruit and veg store there starts doing crazy mark downs and I got a kilo of banana's for $1 and two punnets of strawberries for $4.  I also needed to go to woolies to get MORE MILK but let's not go there ... thinking that when I go food shopping from now on I'm just going to get 6 litres of milk instead of 3 but the problem with that is that my children see there is 'so much milk' and so they drink it 'so much faster'!

Spagetti and meatballs for dinner tonight as I saw two packets marked down in woolies for nearly half price I know I know I went in for milk and came out with more ... what can I say...

Bonus - on the way out a trolley was left next to my car - yeah thanks for that lazy peeps and inside was a shop a docket so I picked it up and it had an 18 c Fuel Voucher still attached so I took that.  Thank you very much!

Tomorrow is Monday so hubby is back to work and I'm back to teaching Zumba in the evening maybe now I will work out what day of the week it is.  I don't want to have to watch play school every morning just to help me... LOL XOXO
